The strategic partnership brings together the skills and resources of one of Africa’s pre-eminent engineering companies with Duration Gold Limited (“Duration”), Clarity’s flagship gold vehicle in Zimbabwe.
Aveng E+PC based in South Africa, specializes in engineering, design and project delivery services as well as the operation and maintenance of metallurgical processing plants, is well positioned to assist Clarity, a private mining house with a portfolio of mineral companies and projects across Africa. Duration, an emerging gold producer, will be the first Clarity company to benefit from this new alliance.
Allan Dolan, Executive Chairman of Clarity, said
“Aveng E+PC brings a capable and comprehensive set of skills which meld with our own strengths as finders and developers of profitable mineral companies. Together we will be able to develop our Zimbabwean asset base rapidly and to world class standards. We are delighted to have an alliance with such a respected international company. It is a vote of confidence in both our people and our Zimbabwean asset base”
Mark Berger, Director of Business Development for Aveng E+PC, said
“Clarity’s early mover strategy offers us a unique opportunity to further expand our market in Zimbabwe which we see as re-emerging with huge growth potential. We are extremely pleased to have found a partner that shares our philosophy and has a similar culture with credible management and attractive assets. We are looking forward to a long and profitable business relationship.”
The alliance is effective immediately. It launches with the development of Duration’s Vubachikwe high grade tails re-processing project, the initiation of bankable feasibility studies for the expansion of the Vubachikwe mine and the development of the Athens and Gaika mines. A pipeline of additional Duration and third party projects are under review.
