Project description

Illovo Sugar LTD approached Aveng E+PC to prepare a FEP (Front End Package) for the expansion of the Nchalo Sugar Factory from 300 TCH (Tons Cane per Hour) to 330 TCH.

On successful completion of the FEP, Aveng E+PC were awarded the EPCM contract to execute the Nchalo Sugar Factory expansion project.
The project was completed in March 2009 and the production was successfully ramped up to the increased capacity of 330 TCH.

Scope of our involvement

Aveng E+PC executed the contract on an EPCM basis.
