When it comes to corporate social investment, Aveng E+PC believes its corporate values and responsibility must be embedded at all levels of the organisation. This is why the company strongly encourages employee participation in the social development initiatives it supports.

 

Long Service Awards

Nadine Weston:

Nadine joined Simon Carves in September 1992, and the company was bought by LTA Processing. Afterwards LTA Processing was bought by Grinaker. She started working half-day as a Secretary to the Financial Manager. She was then moved to the Engineering department still as a Secretary for various Managers. When Nadine started with the company the company was based in Randburg and it has since moved from Randburg to Sunninghill, and from there to Woodmead, and this was due to the company growing. Nadine worked closely with Engineers and Designers, and during this period she gained extra responsibilities of Project Assistants Coordinator. She then worked with the Projects Director, and now is assisting the MD.

Ellen:

 Ellen has been with the company when it was called LTA Processing as a Tea Lady. She remained a Tea Lady until now. The only experience she has is that of a Tea lady.

Sandra Classen:

Sandra joined Simon Carves Africa (Randburg) in 1987 as a Process Cad Tracer, Drafting in those days was done using ink pens on plastic film. This was long before the advent of computers. Progressing on to join the Simon Macforman food division. This was a long stay with them and the advent of LTA Process Eng purchasing Simon Carves in 1993 brought her back into the main design office. Computers started to take hold mid 90s and Sandra embraced the technology wholeheartedly. Then the move to Sunninghill with a name change to Engineering Projects Company in 2004. Sandra has been one of the most dedicated committed CAD Process staff members and her knowledge in the creation of Process Flow and Piping diagrams is invaluable to the new and older Process Engineers.
